Over the past number of weeks fourth, fifth and sixth classes have been attending Active Youth Classes with Kayleigh Cronin. The six-week programme focused on basic foundation movement including squats, lunge, jumping and landing. Throughout the course there was a focus on the technique’s required to perform the movements safely, through game-based activities.
The pupils also attended a Nutrition seminar which focused on nutrition, diet, portion sizes, hydration and lifestyle.
