Second Class Mrs Coleman
School Closure Work
Week beginning Monday 25th May
Homework for Week 25h-29th May 2020 Mrs Coleman’s 2nd Class
Dear 2nd Class,
I hope that you are all keeping very well. This week I saw two small brown butterflies dancing in the air as they flew about. At the same time I spotted a brand new butterfly I had never seen before. It was mint green. Such miracles are happening in our own gardens if we can just take notice of them! Sheolagh saved a baby swallow from her cat. He had fallen out of his nest. Well done on that rescue mission!
You are all learning and observing things that you would never see if we were inside our classrooms. Keep up the great work! Remember to give Mum and Dad a big hug for helping you.

S.P.H.E. World Bee day was May 20th. Our world is having a break from pollution at the moment. There are less aeroplanes flying, less cars on the roads due to the lockdown. Wild flowers and grass are being left to grow in public areas. These simple changes are all positive for our world. Maybe you could make a poster about caring for Planet Earth.
